In the meantime please read the quiz rules:

  • The game runs for 20 minutes of participant thinking time. The host may pause between questions for commentary - that extra talk time does not count against the 20 minutes.
  • You score points as: difficulty x answer speed. There is no hard deadline to answer, but the faster you answer, the more bonus you earn.
  • The 20-minute session is split into four time zones (difficulty zones):
  • Bonus multiplier starts at 60 and decreases by 1 every second while the question is live. Example: a Medium question answered after 30 seconds > 30 x 4 = 120 points. (Scoring = difficulty multiplier x remaining-bonus-seconds.)
  • When you give an answer, the main 20-minute timer pauses until the host confirms correctness. This gives the host time to reveal hints or drama without penalizing the contestant.
  • If your answer is incorrect, the game ends and your final score is published to the high-score page.
  • If your answer is correct, your score is increased and you proceed to the next question.
  • If you survive until the end of 20 minutes you win and receive a special badge next to your high-score entry. Winner
